This Sunday (6/28) during the Sunday School hour the youth will be putting together care boxes for deployed soldiers. If you know of anyone from Foundation who is deployed or even a friend/neighbor who is deployed and would like a care box, please let us know. We will need the complete mailing address, and of course their name.
In July the youth will be doing SUMMER SERVICE PROJECTS for deployed soldier's spouses/families (washing cars, moving the lawn, etc.). This will most likely be one day/week for the month of July. After each project the youth will be having lunch and then going swimming. Therefore, we are looking for male and female adult Foundation members who (1) are willing to assist with the service projects (organizing, teaching, hanging-out with the youth, etc.), and (2) who have a pool that they will allow us to use.
Be sure to let Diane Kiblinger know as soon as possible if you are interested. We really need adults to come out and invest some time with the youth.
